As a result of the draw, Korea was placed in Group A along with the host country Indonesia, North Korea, and the Philippines.

Group B included Japan, the winner of the previous tournament, as well as China, Australia, and Thailand.

Korea won the championship in Thailand in 2009.

The top three teams among the eight teams will participate in the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup to be held in the Dominican Republic in October.

Korea won the first FIFA tournament in Korean soccer history at the 2010 U-17 FIFA Women's World Cup held in Trinidad and Tobago thanks to the performances of Yeo Min-ji, Lee Geum-min, and Jang Seul-gi. Afterwards, except for the 2018 Uruguay tournament (eliminated in the group stage), they all failed to advance to the finals.  토토사이트
